Our Idea Jam Challenge 2019 is a unique opportunity to join an international multi-disciplinary community of experts and work in addressing the challenges of Autonomous and Connected Transport. Anyone aged 16-96 who has access to the internet is welcome to join!

Prizes: Our primary objective is to learn about ACT while having a good time! Prizes are always helpful though, so the winning team will be invited to a future WISE-ACT event. Prizes will also include academic books, Gensler reports, as well as a gift from Broomee…
Teams: We will create teams of 4-5 members based in different countries including diverse background and expertise. Teams will be announced on 8th November 2019. All Idea Jam 2019 communications will be conducted online in English, so it is anticipated that all teams can use English adequately.
Webinar: Our Idea Jam 2019 will be launched through a webinar hosted by the UCL Driverless Futures? project team. The webinar will be delivered by Prof. Nick Reed. Find out more about Nick and Reed Mobility.
Mentors: Each team will be granted access to at least one expert, who they can consult online at the prearranged times between 11th – 15th November.
Challenge: The Idea Jam Challenge topic will be announced during our launch session on 8th November 2019. Supplementary material and a reading list are provided.
Submission: Each team will need to upload their (slides/poster) submission by Monday 18th November 23:59 anywhere in the world. The Award session will take place online on Saturday 23rd November at 12:00CET.
Launch session: Everyone interested in joining should register by 31st October 2019 and join our online launch session on 8th November 2019 at 11:00UK / 12:00 CET. We will use Zoom for our launch session, a software which can be used without the need to download and install it. The Zoom web-link will be forwarded to you upon successful registration.
